Job description

1.Prepare RCA internal annual audit plan
v Consult different units for collecting information regarding their annual activities;
v Prepare a risk based audit plan;
v Design the audit plan with clear timing;
v Ensure that the annual audit plan is approved by the audit committee BoD and submitted to MINECOFIN.
2.Carry out financial review (monthly and annually)
v Conduct the review of financial statement;
v Review all payment done during the period under review;
v Provide Findings to the units under audit;
v Provide final reports to the Chairperson of Audit Committee BoD;
v Give advice on the appropriateness of accounting records and financial reporting.
3.Carry out general management of the annual systems audit
v Assess whether current controls are adequate to identify risk and provide assurance on adequacy and effectiveness of risk management practices;
v Help management to improve efficiency and to ensure that governance, risk management and internal control systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
v Examine adherence to any policy, contractual, regulatory and legislative requirements
4.Provide advisory services
v Participate in significant initiatives and priorities and providing solutions to financial and internal controls;
v Safeguards objectivity and ensure he/she does not play a management role.
5. Follow up the implementation of audit recommendations
v Review management responses to internal audit reports;
v Review and follow-up the implementation of external audit recommendations and prepare report
6. Prepare consolidate quarterly audit report
v Summarize Internal Audit activities in a consolidated report to be submitted to the audit committee;
v Provide a copy consolidated report on the Internal Audit activities to the chief Budget manager and to the office of Government Chief Internal Auditor (GCIA);
v Facilitate RCA internal Audit committee activities.
v Any other task assigned by his/her supervisor.

1. Prepare and conduct capacity building activities of Financial Services Cooperatives
v Prepare and conduct the exercise of Financial Services Cooperatives Capacity Needs Assessment, base line surveys and prepare capacity building plans;
v Assist in evaluation of impact of capacity building activities in Financial Services Cooperatives;
v Prepare capacity buildings framework and road map;
v Prepare and update training materials, modules, standards and curriculum as well as supervisory systems needed to build the capacity of Financial
